While spring is right around the corner and with the current situation playing out, we want to assure you the safety and health of our customers remain our #1 priority. With that being said, we know you’re probably cleaning your home top to bottom and we ask you to do the same for your vehicle. This week’s blog is dedicated to just that and why it is so important to keep up with your cleaning schedule. If you have any questions, please contact our team. We look forward to serving you through this current situation!

The purpose of cleaning/ disinfecting as recommended by the CDC:

  • Cleaning refers to the removal of germs, dirt, and impurities from surfaces. Cleaning does not kill germs, but by removing them, it lowers their numbers and the risk of spreading infection.
  • Disinfecting refers to using chemicals to kill germs on surfaces. This process does not necessarily clean dirty surfaces or remove germs, but by killing germs on a surface after cleaning, it can further lower the risk of spreading infection.

Disinfect areas such as:

  • Your volume controls
  • Temperature controls
  • Steering wheel
  • All handles interior and exterior
  • Gear shift and emergency brake

Going forward keep these items in your vehicle:

  • Hand sanitizer
  • Antibacterial wipes
  • Disinfectant spray
  • Wash your hands before and after driving

We know this is a nervous time for many reasons but our team is here to help you through your vehicle needs. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our team at your convenience.
